Founded in 1972, Grange Motors began as a small, local workshop with one simple mission – to provide honest, reliable vehicle servicing and repairs for the local Durham community.

Over 50 years later, we’re proud to still be family-run, carrying forward the same customer-first approach that has earned us the trust of second and third-generation customers.

We welcome all makes and models of cars and vans, and motorhomes. We offer MOT testing (Classes 1, 2, 4 & 7), full servicing to manufacturer specs (including in-warranty vehicles), brakes, tyres, exhausts, body work, and repairs, making us a true all-rounder for local motorists.

Our team includes three Level 3 EV-qualified mechanics, a bodywork expert – all working with dealer-level tools and diagnostic equipment. Our two 2-post ramps and dedicated spray booth with prep area allow us to carry out everything from mechanical repairs to full resprays.
